HITU/Helwan University organized a visit for its students to the Cairo International Book Fair, under the auspices of Dr. El-Sayed Kandil, President of Helwan University, Dr. Hossam Rifai, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Ahmed Aliq, Advisor to the President of the University for Student Activities, and the supervision of Colonel Emad Hamdy, Director of the Military Education Department at the university, and this comes within the framework of the Egyptian state's keenness to promote culture and knowledge and encourage young people to read.

The first space science program in technological universities

 
 
 
 

 

The Council of the International Technological University of Egypt approved the establishment of the first educational program of its kind in technological universities, for space technology and remote sensing sciences, within the framework of working to meet the requirements of local, regional and global labor markets.

 

 

The International Technological University of Egypt, affiliated with the Education Development Fund of the Cabinet, is the first governmental technological university with branches in three governorates, and includes science and technology complexes.

During the regular meeting of the University Council in May, the Council approved a proposal to establish three new programs in the College of Technology in the specializations of (Space Technology and Remote Sensing - Health Sciences Technology - Wood Industries Technology) and to take all necessary measures to approve these programs.

The Council also discussed the proposal submitted regarding the number of students accepted for the academic year 2024-2025, as well as discussing proposals for equipping the laboratories for the AutoTracks program, equipping the laboratories for the Information Technology program, and equipping the college lecture halls in the workshop building in preparation for the academic year 2024/2025. And discussing the procedures taken to activate the University-Industry Linking Center.

The Council approved the proposal submitted by the Dean of the College of Technology in Assiut, regarding the participation of the college students in the Regional Universities and Schools Youth Week at the New Assiut University. 

The Council discussed the mechanisms for foreign students to enroll, and the opportunities for including the university on the “Study in Egypt” platform. It also approved the schedule for final exams
